While it worked, it brewed delicious coffee. Easy to use, program, problem is, it only lasted 2 months, almost to the day. I traded it in for another, 4 months later, the clean light came on. We cleaned it, turned it back on, and Wha La!! It stopped working as well.
I traded this one in on the more basic Black & Decker, which is working well. I have stayed with Black & Decker, as I have always owned them. My last one lasted 12 years, and the two we have at work are worked to death, and never let us down. I guess I just got a couple lemons. Happens I guess.

We purchased the coffee maker about a month ago and were very satisfied with it. So far we would rate it as one of the top ones we ever had even though the Sneak-A-Cup feature broke only after a few weeks but the Company sent us right away a new removable filter basket.

I bought this for my Dad because he got up early every morning just to turn on his old coffee pot. The program function is confusing for older people. Last week the clock started to just run fast constantly by the minute from 00 to 59 like its gone crazy. Unplugging doesnt help, pushing all the buttons does nothing. He can’t even use it at all anymore. Its too bad black and decker has become a junk brand.

This coffeemaker does not work as intended. The lid does not seal properly and I had to return this coffeemaker since it was spewing hot water. It actually burned my hand. Consumer Reports rated it highly. I replaced it with a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker and am happy with it.

I have found pouring from the full or nearly full carafe nearly impossible without spilling significant quantities of coffee. The design of the spout is faulty. In addition, I broke a carafe trying to clean it. I felt the blow that broke the carafe was significantly less than blows other carafes have withstood with ease. Perhaps it was the location, at the bend at the bottom, that was more fragile. The replacement carafe costs more than the whole unit. Other than those two serious faults, I found the product acceptible.
